Ostool Transport; one of Rayas subsidiaries is hiring a Safety Engineer.
What will you do?
- Maintain and apply knowledge of current health and safety policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
- Identify and correct potential hazards by inspecting sites, roads, trucks and safety equipment
- Keep abreast of changes in regulations and industry best practices, and update company policies accordingly.
- Assess potential risks associated with trucking operations and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Review employee safety programs and recommend improvements.
- Prepare project budgets, schedules, or specifications for labor or equipments in coordination with concerned parties.
- Responsible for accidents analysis and issue the full reports of the accident including RCA, preventive and corrective actions then following up the implementation of these actions.
- Make RRA and SRA for any new project and existing projects.
- Assess potential risks associated with trucking operations and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- supervise periodic and random audit for trucks, drivers and labors to make sure that safety requirements are in place.
- Hold weekly meetings with operation manager and maintenance manager to discuss all the pending issues and following up the progress of the running projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanics is preferred)
- Proven experience in the field of safety from 5 to 7 Years.
- Solid knowledge of safety regulations & procedures in the transportation field.
- Excellent knowledge of road accidents analysis.
- Professional level of English language.
