Ostool Transport; one of Rayas subsidiaries is hiring a Senior Executive (Shipping).
What will you do?
- Track and monitor the daily activities of the vessel, ensuring compliance with operational schedules.
- Maintain records of vessel movements, operational status, and any incidents during voyages.
- Track and record the tonnage of loads being transported.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of load details for operational efficiency.
- Communicate regularly with international partners and companies to coordinate vessel activities and address logistical concerns.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with overseas suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of necessary materials and supplies.
- Monitor supply levels and coordinate orders to prevent shortages.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on vessel activities, load cargo, and any issues encountered during operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications with international partners and suppliers.
- Ensure that all vessel operations comply with relevant maritime and safety regulations.
- Report any safety concerns or compliance issues to the relevant authorities or management.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business administration or relevant field.
- Proven experience in the transportation field from 2 to 4 years of experience.
- Professional level of English language.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Good understanding of budgeting and reporting
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving abilities.
