What you will be doing
At Chalhoub, were driven by digital! Working as a Senior Content and Merchandising Executive, you will be responsible for increasing web traffic and brand awareness through the marketing of content online. You will also create shareable content, distribute content on the appropriate platforms and analyse the results of marketing activities as well as managing the merchandising of products on the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the yearly marketing calendar in line with budget and deadlines
- Manage all online campaigns in coordination with team members and external agencies
- Localise all SKU product descriptions, manage the translation with external service provider and/or internally through translation log maintenance
- Develop, where applicable, creative and engaging product descriptions
- Work closely with Performance Marketing team to streamline all content and assets
- Develop briefs and submit to Graphic Designers to support campaigns
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing team to optimise key categories for SEO as well as merchandising products on the site based on analytics
- Drive sales through merchandising and the optimisation of taxonomy, filters and on-site search
- Leverage data to flag and report on potential category changes, reordering, stock levels, stock allocation, and top sellers by category/segment
- Track products and inventory levels for items planned to be featured in upcoming marketing exposures to ensure enough availability
- Partner with Supply Chain & Planning team to forecast demand based on e-commerce metrics
- Liaise with CRM team to manage end-to-end campaign progress
- Conduct full site QC checks; solve content issues and raise tickets for any technical issues with third party support team
- Review live site merchandising daily for correct links to landing pages, stock evaluation, visual merchandising of all pages
- Support customer service queries when it comes to product information or website content
- Generate ad-hoc reports on KPIs and analytics
- Act as a point of contact with the Brand Owners in relation to all copywriting matters
- Managing 2 direct reports
