Charterhouse are undertaking a search for an International Building Materials company, which specialises in the manufacturing of MEP water solutions, for the commercial and industrial market. The company is headquartered in the United States, and has offices internationally. The Logistics Support & Freight Coordinator will be part of the Dubai based satellite office, working as part of a smaller team, supporting the companies GCC operations.
This role will work closely with customers, international shipping teams in the US, freight forwarders and ME sales team to provide support on order management, such as order status, dispatches (ETD’s/ETA’s) and deliveries. This senior associate role, will require you to liaise with freight forwarders, internal and external customers, to resolve order related issues and respond to unique needs, to deliver cost-effective solutions. Simultaneously, the Coordinator will act as a single point of contact for international customers, offering solutions in reference to the order management.
In conjunction, You will communicate with the business units in the US for order fulfillment, shipping documentation and timely delivery. This role will require management of pricing lists in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
Requirements
The client will look to recruit a Logistics and Supply Chain professional, whom is able to demonstrate a sustained track record, for a regional or international Building Materials, MEP or Manufacturing company within a similar position. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of working on ERP systems and have an understanding of the MEP industry. The candidate will hold a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject, or hold an active professional supply chain membership (CIPS, CSCMP, SCLAA).
Candidates on the ground in the UAE or with relevant GCC experience will be considered as a priority.
